In the early 1980’s, eight smart but mischievous students are preparing for their A-level exams at a boy’s grammar school, hoping to enter Oxford or Cambridge. Hector, who teaches General Studies is more interested in teaching how to live life than on how to ace the exams. Irwin, a History teacher who studied at Oxford, is hired by the school to help the boys on their A-level quest. Irwin is young and demanding. He is only interested in the students’ scores. The students calmly continue their studies despite the two teachers’ obvious differences in teaching style and philosophy.
One day, the headmaster asks Hector to leave the school as he is displeased with his behavior. Irwin is shaken from an unexpected relationship with the students.
The students are about to begin a new chapter in their lives.
