Sejong, 1446



In 1418, King Taejong dethrones the prodigal crown prince Yangnyeong and replaces him with the bookworm prince Chungnyeong. Chungnyeong never expected to become king but now he is king. However, his abdicated father still plays power games behind the scenes. Chungnyeong realizes his own incompetence as king when he puts his wife and father-in-law in trouble. He then stands up to his father, follows his political creed and protects the crown. However, he still has a long way to go, and the road before Chungnyeong looks bumpy…
