“I don’t remember where I lost and left my dreams.”
Seo Na-young, a 27-year-old girl, left her hometown in Gangwon-do province and came to Seoul to realize her dream. She wants to be a writer but struggles to make ends meet. She temporarily gives up on her dream and moves into a semi-basement flat. She works at a bookstore so she could read piles of books if she does not realize her dream of becoming a writer. But disappointingly, all she does is arrange books on the bookshelves.
“Uulzsandaa bayartai baina.” (Nice to meet you)
She goes up to the rooftop to hang out the laundry and bumps into Solongo, a young Mongolian neighbor. Solongo came to Korea, a country of beautiful rainbows, to find his dreams and he falls in love with Na-young at first sight. They awkwardly introduce themselves to each other and then slowly the two become friends over the flying laundry.
"We too are people who feel pain and cry when beaten.”
One day, Na-young stands up to her boss for her colleague who is unfairly dismissed. The boss wrongs Na-young too. Upset and drunken Na-young runs into Solongo on her way home. They scuffle with a drunken man on the street and the experience brings them closer together as they can relate to one another and understand. Each other's pain. They cheer up and console each other…
